- Alloy 625 casting replacements
Goodwin's have successfully produced castings, in an accelerated time-scale for three projects where the original (non-Goodwin) supply of alloy 625 failed in a catastrophic manner.
9.5% Cr creep resistant steels
E911 (9.5Cr,1Mo,0.2V,1W,NbN) [X11CrMoWVNb9-1-1] for turbine applications. The E911 steel grade has been developed from grade P91 to increase the creep properties at 600°C through the control of vanadium, nitrogen and the addition of tungsten.
