Plasma display boards

Award winning  fixed and plasma display boards. Goodwin manufactured the stainless steel support castings in-house and supplied the brackets from their Indian investment casting foundry.

The display system is not only technologically advanced and effective, but is housed in elegant enclosures which complement the classical architecture of the terminal.

Stainless support brackets

Each stainless steel bracket is made up of 4 small investment castings from 0.3 to 1.8kg.

Fastening turnbuckles

An engineering solution to an installation problem. Goodwin manufactured these turnbuckles from investment castings and machined bar, surface finish was matched to give a pleasing aesthetic effect.

Prototype models

Models of a fixing bracket and locking clip.

The models were manufactured by a rapid prototyping system to enable evaluation and approval of the shape and fit before manufacture of the investment castings.

Glazing node

An investment cast glazing node, manufactured in duplex stainless steel to give corrosion resistance coupled with a higher tensile strength than 316 type stainless.
