CrMoV 20inch re-heat valve

The photo shows the inspection of a 20inch re-heat valve made in CrMoV creep resisting steel for the recirculation of steam between the low and high pressure turbines.

This item is produced as a three-casting fabrication welded assembly; it is welded, painted and machined in house. The finished fabrication weighs 9,300kg and has been supplied to customers in the USA, Korea and Japan.

2¼Cr 1Mo creep resisting steel 600MW RSV-IV

This reheat stop and intercept valve in a 2¼Cr 1Mo steel consists of two IV castings welded to a RSV casting.

After fabrication welding the unit is finish machined and then fully assembled, the ship weight of the assembled valve is 23,000kg.
