8,500kg Steam Control Valve

Double butterfly valves for the Main Steam Pipes on the 1356MW ABWR (Advanced Boiling Water Reactor) Kashiwazaki-Kariwa Nuclear Power Station located in Niigata prefecture, Japan.

The material is a micro-alloyed steel with 0.5% Cu. The 8,500kg valves were supplied in the fully machined condition.

Boiler Feed Pump Casting

4,500kg pump casting for a double stage end suction centrifugal pump. Goodwin supplied over 60 of these size of pump castings in the machined and radiographed condition over a 15 month period.

96" Butterfly Valve Body

Carbon steel butterfly valve body for the seawater intake system on Sizewell B nuclear power station.

Cable Band Castings

Final release of a batch of cable band castings following ultrasonic and magnetic particle non-destructive testing prior to machining.

The finished cable bands were supplied for the Tsing Ma Bridge in the Hong Kong Harbour. The castings were supplied in a C-Mn steel for good low temperature impact properties.
